PHP Programmer (Full-Time Employee)

Do you want to work at one of the most established and fastest growing mobile companies in Vancouver, helping build high quality apps for some of the world's biggest events?

Xomo is looking for a talented PHP programmer to work on evolving the suite of web-based tools related to our successful Mobile Event Guide and Mobile Live Experience products.

The ideal candidate MUST have the following:

This position involves implementing designs on web and mobile environments using:

• PHP/SQL
• Javascript/JQuery
• CSS

The ideal candidate MUST have the following qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience
• A strong understanding of PHP/SQL including a familiarity with a variety of PHP frameworks
• A strong understanding of cross-browser issues and remedies
• Experience working with high availability, scalable systems. You will be part of the same team that built the 2010 Winter Olympics mobile app. Downtime is not an option.

Experience with PHP-based content management tools like Drupal or Wordpress or mobile web apps would be a nice plus, as would native mobile app development.

This is a full-time position working in our Vancouver head office. Xomo offers an attractive annual salary with extended health and dental, a profit sharing plan plus three weeks vacation. We would also consider a contract position for at least 3 months.
