Project Manager

Do you want to help deliver mobile apps for some of the highest profile festivals and events on the planet? Xomo is the market leader in providing world-class mobile apps to events. We recently won the Best Mobile App trophy at the Canadian New Media Awards for delivering the highly-successful Official Mobile Spectator Guide for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Our team is now delivering apps for some of the world's largest events, festivals, conferences and trade shows.

We're seeking an enthusiastic, tech-savvy Project Manager to oversee the implementation of our Xomo Mobile Event Guide product for festivals, conferences and other events worldwide. Clients include SXSW, Lollapalooza and the Olympics. You will work with a team of talented mobile application developers and designers building apps for iOS (iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad), Android, BlackBerry and other devices. This position is available full-time or on a contract basis in our Vancouver office.

The ideal candidate must have the following:
- Experience coordinating development teams and working with clients
- An interest in mobile technology
- Minimum 3 years experience in project management
- Minimum 2 years related Internet, software or mobile product/account/service management
- Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Experience working closely with clients
- Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of project management principles, including Agile, and tools like Basecamp are an asset. Knowledge of software testing procedures would also be ideal.
